Anybody else pick up a slight similarity between this and Tarantino's kick ass El Mariachi movies?

Not that I'm complaining. I always wanted them to make a game about a crazy Mexican with a crazy arsenal of weapons. Excellent stuff for gung-fu junkies!

its ment to be based on the el mariachi series. Its a game of the same princaples and stuff. The gun case is obvious!

hence the kick ass move el mariachi! whic also appears in once upon time in mexico!

I haven't seen Tarantino's El Mariachi movies. Just the ones Rodriguez did. How are they? (if only there was a website where we could check these facts)
