After Katya tells Pierre "Since I have your confession, should I send it to your boss or would you rather I send it to the police?" I just wish Pierre would have said "You could send it anywhere you want, my wife would have a big laugh. You see, acting isn't that hard, I mean it came easy for me, and basically my first impression of you is correct, your just a spoiled rich no talent cocaine addicted brat that happens to be good looking that must have screwed her way to the top to get into B films. I look forward to make sure your fans know what the real Katya is like!"

I liked the ending...sort of anyway. The whole movie was the two of them 1-upping each other and katya won in the end, which was cool because he had underestimated her. so i guess i like the irony.

the problem here is, her being that masterful of deceit and mindgames is hard to believe, because nothing in her character's development indicated she was anything but the messed up B actress whore Pierre was convinced she was. The character was very typical, and it wouldve been cool if she could be believed to have been smarter and more capable than him. maybe if it had been gradual, she starts out a spoiled airhead and subtly reveals the trickier aspects of her personality, and her understanding of the celeb/media relationship. that, not her acting, would have been her art. but her character was consistently the vapid boring celebrity and not much else. AND she caught him lying to her, so the OPs ending would make more sense because he wouldve been lying about his tragedies and such to manipulate her, and the viewers would have that foreshadowing to support him winning. so yeah the way the movie actually was put together, the OP's ending is more suitable.

Man, I was thinking the same thing. Might have been cool if he'd never been married at all, or gay like Katya thought in the begining.

Or if there was a notice at the end of the movie stating that Sienna Miller was going to retire. That would have been awesome!

Hmmm, I do think I would've liked that ending a lot more. For me there was just something off with the ending of the film. I was actually hoping they would just part ways and never speak about it again. Just continue their lives like nothing had happened.

Kind of a Breakfast Club ending I guess.

or at least he should have said "Send it to whomever you like.. if you believe it to be true". So it was a bit of a letdown that she should have manipulated him that much. Oh well... women have to win every time nowadays it seems.
