Buffalo Stance

Okay, this movie sucked, we all know that.
I find it absolutely hilarious that last weekend I watched "Gone, But Not Forgotten" where the lead talked just like Napolean Dynamite and in this one you'd swear that the lead sounds just like Napolean's brother Kip. I find it even more funny realizing that in Napolean Dynamite, Kip was always online in chatrooms. Too funny.

What was super funny though, was the the sample intro taken from Neneh Cherry's Buffalo Stance that was worked into the score at several points throughout the film. At first I couldn't believe anyone would be that dumb to think people (especially gays) wouldn't recognize it. Anyway, everytime it would play, we'd all say "Gigalo". If you know Buffalo Stance, you know how funny that is. You can't help but say it.

As for the movie, it's really just a lousy collection of stolen scenes from more popular gay themed movies and television shows. The opening sequence is taken right from The Broken Hearts Club which then leads directly into a scene taken from Queer As Folk. The acting is below Jr. High Drama class level. Hell, I've seen little girls give better performances at tea parties.

As for the nudity, I don't know what movie the rest of you saw, but everything was poorly blurred out in the version I saw. As if the cast wasn't nelly enough, they somehow lost their genitalia in the process as well.

Gigalo ....... huh, Sucka
