Disappearing Max.

Wasn't he on top of the crane? He threw the detonator in, Clay jumped in after, then Max was magically gone within that 10 seconds.

He teleported. I thought part was obvious.

LOL. Anyways this movie was bad. 4 guards about to gun down Pooch, Jensen and The Hat guy, and he smiles. Everyone turns around and' lo and behold. Zoe standing atop with a grenade launcher. Did the guards help her reach the top?

In screen time yes, in story time I think it was supposed to be longer. i.e. Clay swims to the dock, gets out and the other Losers drive up to meet him. I agree with the sentiment of your post. These sort of weird time shifts frequently happen in action movies. They are all on the dock congratulating one another (arguably rightfully, as they have stopped the bomb exploding). But none of them think to say, "What about Max?" And we are supposed to think he just shimmied away.🐭

yeah i guess time shifts are excusable but that whole scene begs the question: why not shoot and jump?
