I just got home from seeing "Ira and Abby" at the Landmark theater in LA and it was absolutely amazing!! It was hilarious and touching at the same time. the cast were all fantastic---some truly great performances. the writing was great and the cinematography was amazing, especially considering the low budget.the soundtrack was also really good for any and all music lovers! it was overall just a really fun, feel-good movie. i walked out of the theater immediately wanting to go back and see it again!!!

Can you give a crowd report? How full was the theater, do you think the audience enjoyed it, etc...

the theater was pretty full, as full as it would be for a friday afternoon matinee (the first evening performance was sold out!) the audience definitely enjoyed it. there was a wide variety of ages though, the theater mainly consisted of senior citizens and then there was me and my friends all in college, so sometimes the laughs were a little spread out over the generations. but overall, everyone genuinely seemed to enjoy it. everyone should really go see it!!!
