if the role was going to a main stream African American actor than it shoud have gone to Denzel Washington.
Wtf does that even suppose to mean? I know an African American who's family came from Nigeria. He played college football as a running back. He also became a doctor at 28 years old in pediatric care. If you're think that it's because Denzel is older and would fit the role, then you're stupid. This is hailed as one of Will's best acting.
