A wonderful book became a completely rubbish film

What on earth were they thinking? Will Smith has two expressions - angry and smirking.
This film has all the depth of a teaspoon.

I completely agree with you about this terrible adaptation, though I do believe Will Smith to be a fine actor and has appeared in some excellent films.

Have you see the 1964 film, The Last Man on Earth starring Vincent Price? In my opinion a much better adaptation despite the low budget and poor production quality.

I have not read the book, didnt even know there was one!
But I absolutely loved the Movie, would like to see a sequal.

How are you suppose to act after you loss everything and everyone you know? And that humanity is basically wiped out and he's been alone for so long? I bet you would go suicidal if you couldn't interact with social media or you smart phone while the only form of life he had was his dog that later he had to kill.
