I found this film to be extremely obnoxious. I'm either struggling to hear the dialogue or being deafened and annoyed by sound effects, especially shrieking.
Worst sound I have ever heard in a film. Completely ruined it for me.
Does anyone enjoy this style of sound design that requires you to turn your volume up so you can hear a single word which makes every sound effect insanely loud?
I guess when you rely on cheap jump scares instead of a good plot you need horrible sound to force people into the pathetic jump scares.

That's your television, not the movie... I have that issue with some but not all movies too. I like to watch movies with subtitles on so that I can keep the volume at a decent level & what I can't hear I can read at the bottom. Very effective.
