Anna/Ethan's Reaction When Robert Was Quoting Shrek

I have never understood why they were both looking at him like mental patients or something while he was quoting Shrek. Ethan may have been too young to know about TV or movies since the world had been changed probably his whole life, but Anna obviously would have known all about watching TV and movies and quoting a favorite show or movie you had watched over and over.
