I thought Juliette Binoche was too old for this part

I didn't find her believable with Dane Cook at all. I know she is supposed to be younger than Steve Carrel, but she looked really old in this like no one fixed her makeup. Didn't enjoy her character....found her annoying.

Yeah I agree.. it was a bad match to me.. Dane cook's character seemed more carefree, and she seemed to conservative.

Now Emily Blunt could have been the girl instead!

The whole time I was watching it I kept thinking, they should have cast Rachel Weisz.

Emily Blunt seemed age appropriate for Dane Cook IMO.

she was not matching Dans younger brother, too old and too bookish. she looked okay for Dan.

But wasn't that kind of the point. He had managed to woo her using lines from his brothers book. She even said that all his best lines were Dans. They weren't right for each other and that is why she chose to be with Dan.
You don't have to be an ideal match with someone to start a relationship. Sometimes it's just about what's fun.
