I think the music in this movie is very bland, the kind of music you hear in radio or even worse. completely tasteless guitar strumming and unbearable howling.

Urgh, blerk. It almost make me puke ;)

I really hate those type of musical scores.

This is virtually a movie for woman, maybe they feel different for the music.

But all in all I can honestly believe that this movie's musical soundtrack is horrible tasteless- very much like the movie.

I love Steve Carell and this movie has some good scenes!

Plus, they did horrible violence against a great Elvis Costello song.

I agree that most of the music is forgettable. I think that they were aiming for a non-intrusive accompaniment to the story.

I wish they'd do the audio over replacing that lame music. I also hated it. You can find that same bland talentless band in any college town on open mic night. I think pwople's negative feelings for the movie were due to the torturous soundtrack.
