But a movie and role like this could set up David Straithrain for another Oscar next since this year he will probably lose to Philip Seymour Hoffman. Not that I have any criticism for that. I haven't seen Capote yet, but Hoffman is great actor and I am sure he was excellent as Capote.

You're not off the rails with that assumption. I've been thinking the same thing. :) For an independent film, I think this movie could do very well come awards season. It sounds like a very unique, interesting story with a fine cast of actors. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
