What if she was a Witch? (CONTAINS SPOILERS.)

This post is speculative for those who have seen the movie, so…

What if the movie decided not to make her a Demon possessed Girl, and he big bad villain a Demon? What if Instead they went another unusual route, as opposed to her being purely innocent and wrongly accused. What if she really had been a Witch? And I don’t mean a good witch who practices an ancient Goddess centred Religion.

What if she had really been an Evil Witch who caused plagues?

How do you think the movie would have worked then?

Just asking.

It could have worked, but they'd have to have come up with a different ending. But it'd not have been as unique as this film. While I don't have any titles off hand, they have had movies about evil witches. But, as far as I know, this is the first film to have witchcraft caused by demon possession. And that uniqueness is one of the reasons to see this film.

You do realise that your post doesn't actually contain any spoilers? but that the sentence in your title does...

That kind of makes (CONTAINS SPOILERS.) a bit redundant don't you think?
