Monty Python similarities

Similarities between Monty Python's Holy Grail and Season of the Witch: the plague village with a parade of self-punishing monks, "she's a witch!", the Bridge of Death Over the Gorge of Eternal Peril, and the treasure-hunt procedure to some castle with a mystical object hidden in it. This movie would be a so-bad-it's-good cult classic except that MPHG already did it, just mix in a little bit of The Exorcist, the wolf scene of LOTR, and a battle from Kingdom of Heaven.
