It's kind of funny, because on the cover of the Book on CD for Passage to Zarahemla it says "Soon to be a major motion picture." And considering the fact that some of the main characters have never acted before, and the director/producer has never directed or produced before, I highly doubt this movie will even be worth watching.
shareAgreed. I was at the auditions for the Book of Mormon movie and after reading about 40 pages of the script. I left with absolutley no confidence whatsoever in the writer or director. After watching the film I'm so glad I left.

As stated elsewhere on this board, don't confuse this with any of the other films in the genre. This is new, original, and actualy very good. Go pick up a copy of the book and check it out before the film hits theatres.
People keep posting that this film is "new, original, and actually very good". Lies, all lies! I saw it, and I regret it. It's awful. It offended me because it portrayed Mormons as idiotic. (Especially if you consider the production staff of the film.) It's not new, it's recycled garbage, which is just sludge. This film is very, very, very, very bad.
