Hey all, I was the Pink Lady in the outrageous beehive at the Clapham Grand shoot of this film, with my best mate Susie, the pirate- we were trying to reach any extras from that day as had a blast and were hoping to meet up when the film comes out for a viewing and drinks. Anyone hear me???
shareHi there. I remember seeing you there. I really enjoyed that shoot. It was tough, i was there for the four days. They were long days but well worth it as both crew and extras were all really nice. I was the guy dressed in that long black 'thing' and had to wear a mask which resemble what people wear when they fence.
Do you know when the film is being released? I'm kind of dreading it because of the dance scenes, I can't dance to save my life.
Any way, nice to hear from someone who was there too.

Hey Juan- I remember you too! It was such good fun but really hard work too, and I was only there for 2 days, so you are a brave man :)
I have heard it will be released in November although I originally thought it was April (that's what the guy who wrote it said). I'm dreading seeing it too- although obviously excited- as that dancing to no music thing was a nightmare!!! I just kept wiggling my head so my massive beehive was wobbling all over the place...
Anyway, keep in touch and we'll go see it when it's out.

Good to hear from you again. A friend of mine just got back from a 3 day photoshoot in Rome. I have kept it up, but it's been really slow. I was an extra on the first episode of the last series of Two Pints and A Packet of Crisp. I have been on the Bill, and Vital Signs as well as a few commercials.
I'm waiting to see if it picks up. As for being an extra in The Maldives....bring it on!!!
Have you tried joining other agencies? 2020 Casting, G2, Solomon Artistes, Casting Collective and Ray Knight to name a few are all very good.

I haven't joined any agencies as it's not something I would be doing all the time but good I guess for some extra dosh when you can get it. My friend is a pro actress and does loads of adverts- she's now getting about £20000 a go which is unbelivable!! Alright for some eh???
Anyway, thinking about it who needs the Maldives when London is like this? (other than the lack of turquoise water, white sand and swaying palms, obviously!!) - loving the summer sun so hope you're enjoying it too.

Ello, yh i THINK i remember you...were you the one i tried hitting on, and while i was trying to put my punch line in the Director of Photography assclown yelled, QUIET EVERYBODY... yeah wat an ass, but either way if you dont remember, i'm one of the guys who was wearing the black, men in black suit, but course i wasnt dressed as tommy lee or will smith, i was actually playing james bond, and i'm sure you must remember the guy from the dance floor who managed to kick everyone there when he was dancing....YEP, ALL ME!!!!

Haha I definitely remember you but I think the ass you are referring to belonged to the girl in the pink all in one suit (I totally agree with your opinion by the way). I was the girl in the pink fur coat and huge pink wig- my ass was fully covered up all day long so unless you've got xray vision that weren't my tooshie.
Anyway, when are we all going to get to see this movie, get drunk and fall over laughing at ourselves?

shareHey we where there. we were guys in cowboy outfits and hats. It was before broke back. I spoke to the guy on set and he said that they will release it in september so the dvd is out by xmas but i dont think it will make cinema. How come the only people interested in this film are the extra's?? That prick barman who wasnt even dressed up took over our names in the credits.
shareyeah what a mad few days that was. even if the money and fod was crap! i kept in touch with selwyn roberts the director, who i have to say is a great guy. he's line produced all of the xmen movies aswell.
