I don't normally give movies a 1 star rating but this piece of *beep* just asked for it. ......I don't know where to begin my rant on this horrendous "film".
If you are one of the few who did actually enjoy it then please tell me why.
Maybe I am totally missing something.
I loved it. It just was like...the whole film MY adrenaline was pumped. It had some great little ideas and most of them were damned funny like his erection. Bleh, its not the best film ever but its not trying to be. Its trying to be the most pure action film you've ever seen and I think it succeeds at that. Of course if you don't like actions, then you will HATE this film because that's all it is.
sharei agree with yaqdark, its definetly full of action, like when he just walks into the store and grabs a bunch of snacks and candy, and the cashier knows he doesnt have a chance. The rooftop scene is pretty sweet too.

this movie is what the action genre is SUPPOSED to be. its got a unique format from other action movies, maybe not the mist substance lol but most action movies don't either. this was full throttle from start to finish. this was an all assault on your adrenal glands lol, just like chev the audience doesn't get a chance to slow down and the action pushes through without fail. Statham is a pimp and actually believable as an action star because hes not the pretty boy type (which is fine) but he brings something else to the table like a rugged Clint Eastwood type of character which Hollywood hasn't consistently produced in quite a while.

It's not a serious movie; it didn't change my life or anything, but I loved all the dry humor in it. I thought it was hilarious, in a silly, rediculous kind of way. Anyways Justin, that's what I liked about it.

shareI didn't really enjoy it that much. To me it wasn't an action movie, all he did was run from place to place with very little happening in between. When he first got into the fight with the guys near the start I thought "Oh good a fight scene", then he just runs of.

Because they probably like those things Uwe Boll craps into the toilet then calls a film, and that would destroy any shred of respect we may have for them, even though most of that went out the window when they called an action flick just short of a masterpiece like Crank the worst movie ever.

I tried my best to watch this movie and get into it...but I just could not get into it. And I can't put my finger on why I did not like it. It just seemed like everything they did was just boring in every scene. I watched both versions too..the clean and the regular..still Nada. I was hoping this was going to be like Speed or one of those movies. This DVD goes straight to my garage sale..not wasting shelf space for this one.

Anywhere from 14 to 18 when you wrote this would make sense.
I'm 21, and I think its lacking in many respects...but it's not meant to be taken seriously. I saw it as a comedy when I watched it. It was funny how bad (in a good way) it was.
It still only gets about a 5 from me, because it can't in all honestly be taken seriously enough to get higher than that.

OMG!!! this is an action movie, this aint Brokeback Mountain!!! If you like action movies then you have to love this, if you were expecting a gay movie about people learning the important lessons in life then you picked the wronf movie! This movie is a trip, its probably even better if your juiced up yourself!! Personally I think this is the 'Die Hard' of our generation!!!
