Is this show unique?

Most British comedy shows have imdb boards that read like fan sites, with any criticism quickly flamed out of existence.

Is this show unique in being the ONLY British comedy on IMDB where most posts say it's crap, and only a few defend it?

Also, was this ALL written by John Morton? (Apart from the bits that were created by David Quantick or Linehan and Matthews in 1993, of course).
