Director's Cut - any different?

Is the DVD release of this, entitled Director's Cut, any different from the version broadcast on BBC at all? On the imdb main page it says UK: 18 (uncut), implying perhaps that the TV version was cut and the DVD release is uncut. Anyone know?

There's more graphic scenes of the killings (i.e, more blood). Other than that I don't think it's that different; though I'd SWEAR there was a bit with Todd talking to Fielding in his office in the t.v version... Am I going mad, or was that in there?

Cher coeur, comment comme vous ceci?

The director's cut has more violence and blood. I've changed the certificate, instead of saying uncut version it will say DVD rating, when it gets approved.
Thanks for pointing that out.

My pleasure! Quite enjoyed this one actually so now I have an actual incentive to get it on DVD some time.

I was wondering how much was cut from the aired TV version. But the director's cut is not suitable for people who haven't got the stomach for slasher movies. I sat there with my jumper over my head until the gurgling sounds stopped in the murder scenes.
