The Costliest Film In Asia!! Now in HINDI!!!

Sivaji is said to be the costliest film in Asia ever made. One of my friend who was an Assistant Director in this film with Shankar, Gave me the news that this film is made in the budget of Indian Money 150 Crores!!

I was also informed that the Hindi (Half Dubbed, Half Hindi Spoken) Version of Sivaji (Shivaji) has Rajinikanth(Shivaji), Shriya Saran, Amitabh Bachchan (Adiseshan-Orginally Played by Suman), Johny Lever (Mama- Orginally Played by Vivek) and Mallika Sherawat (In Balleilakka Song). The Hindi Version will be released in theatres in the month of December 2007. This was the reason that the film was so costly, Because Shankar shot this film in two languages and two different cast.

All the best with the Hindi Version!! We pray that SHIVAJI The Boss also ROCKS the same way like SIVAJI The Boss (Tamil) did!!!

This is news to me and tough to believe. As per what I heard is that the cost of production was close to Rs 100 Cr (for the Tamil version) and Big B (followed by Nana Patekar & Mohanlal) was requested to do the negative role in the Tamil version but he denied either becuase he was unhappy with the chracter or he couldn't show free slots in his callsheet.

I will anyway wait for the official announcement before I believe in anything.
