What is your favorite part of this film?

This film is a complex look at one family's (or one man's) experience or response to living an intentional life. The film raises all kinds of complex narratives and conflicts that we all experience in different ways. While I do not believe the film is perfect, nor its subjects, I continue to reflect on many of the impactful moments of the film.

What most impacted you as you viewed? What do you think will continue to cause you to think?

For me one of the most jarring and disequilibrating portions of the film (perhaps included for this very shocking nature) was Dorian's morning routine which was almost animalistic in nature and a heavy foreshadowing of his alpha-male ideology of engaging life and "finding our home in the Earth." While not a nudist or anything, the raw honesty--and vulnerability--set up the film well for the complexities that ensued.
