Are we going to have a return to form for the Balkan auter? I sure hope so i found both Life is A Miracle and Black Cat White Cat to be extremely dissapointing so here's hoping Emir proves he still has it in him. I hope its shown at Cannes as well so we can get some reviews soon.

But the fact that I have liked his other films that have been, makes it a pretty safe bet in my book.
You either love his films or don't. I don't think there's any real middle ground. I find his work brilliant.

I've enjoyed all those movies too but I agree that when in comparison to Underground and Time of the Gypsies, they're not nearly as good.. specially Life is a Miracle which I found to be toooooo soft! less Kusturica's style! less outrageous!
Let's hope he goes back and does a movie tottaly his style and tottaly new :P
