can you tell me the ending of the film?

I was watching the movie at the Cornerhouse in Manchester and the whole cinema had to be evacuated because of the smell of gas (quite surreal). Anyway I wasn´t able to see it again
I think the last scene I saw was Massimo having a lunch with the policeman or maybe a little further, anyway I only saw about 40 min and would like to know how it ends
