MOLAD screens Opening Nightat Rhode Island International Film Festival

-----"MOLAD" to screen Opening Night at Academy Award qualifying festival-----

"Matters of Life and Death" has been selected to screen as part of the prestigious Opening Night Program at the 2007 Rhode Island International Film Festival.

The event will take place on Tuesday, August 7th, at 7pm at the Providence Performing Arts Center, 220 Weybosset St., Providence, Rhode Island. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased through RIIFF's website (link below).

Festival attendees also have the option of purchasing tickets to additional Opening Night events. The Official Red Carpet Reception is an exclusive cocktail party where tickets-holders can meet and talk with visiting filmmakers. After the screening is Celebration 11:RIIFF Opening Gala, a party to kick off the festival.

Unfortunately, director Joseph Mazzello will be unable to attend the festival, as he is on location in Australia shooting the new HBO miniseries "The Pacific."

"We are very honored to be screening on opening night at RIIFF, and I sincerely wish that I could be there to represent the film," he says. "A lot of people have been asking about an East Coast screening, so here it is! I hope that everyone in the area can make it. Bring your family and friends to come out and support MOLAD!"
