its got a great screenplay, director, cast and was shot on-location all over west coast. yes, plot is a road trip of younger bro to find older bro, but much more. also life-seeking, love, betrayal, action, gonzo characters, and - yes - sex. anyway, if you're a fan of "true" indies and/or any of the actors, then buy your tix to Sundance now...

does anyone know who will be the car's owner? Is it Malone or Deschanel, not that it matters really, sounds like a good flick. Yes, at one time the great almighty sundance was something of substance, now it's nothing more than a wealth parade filled with stars who only dream of creating movies that could make people feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Ummm..... this film IS indie. when a person writes, finances and directs a film by himself with no distributor lined up, that is indie. hynes was able to get some incredible actors to work for him based on a great screenplay. the film was already in the can looking for distribution when sundance selected it.
if that's not indie, please give us your definition?
