Netflix DVD scratched at end. I need the ending (spoiler alert)

On my DVD, it stopped playing just as Clive is receiving the award for the tie in the state championship. I don't wanna re-rent it. So what happened?

Meanwhile, it's been over two months since I posted this question. Being over 65, I've forgotten the entire movie, so answering the question is now meaningless.

William (the son that doesn't understand the secret language) learns that his mother already knows that Sandra, the girlfriend, is living in their basement. She's okay with that, but tells William not to inform his father. In the next scene William and his father are playing ping pong in the basement. The mother calls them up for supper, but the father hears a noise behind the furnace. He goes to investigate. We think he's going to discover Sandra back there, but instead he discovers Clive and Eliot making love. Clive stands up and says Batorsag. Eliot says Szerelem. The father hits Clive. Everybody's distressed. In a voice over, William says he never talked about that day again. We jump into the future. The mother, much older, is in the hallway of a hospital. A much older William arrives. They go into a room where the father and a much older Eliot (I think) are sitting next to a much older Clive, who's in bed, presumably dying. William hugs and kisses him. In the next scene, the older William is walking along a beach with what appears to be his wife and child. Two older women are walking a little ahead of them. When a man passes the women, they all greet each other with Servus. It turns out the secret language is Hungarian. William shows the old women what he thinks was his brother's dictionary (the yellow piece of paper). She tells him it's not a dictionary, but rather a poem and then she translates it for him. William recalls the first scene in which his brother is trying to fly like a kite behind William's bike. The End. Hope that helped!
