how do i get more city events to happen?

I have NO idea why there is a lack of city missions. That happened to me to. Here is advice= when you get a city mission, try staying in that area where you found one, cuz trust me, they will pop up like dandelions.

For some reason, all i do is take my mind of it. Focus on how cool my swinging techniques are. Then it pops up in no time.

After you beat the game, let's say you do a city event. then, nothing appeared all after that. All i do is switch to venom, play for a few minutes, then to back to spidey mode. A city event usually appears.
