Help with Venom battle (the one with the helicopter)
Any tips or tricks I could use in this fight?

Jump around alot, I'm talking L2 Button huge-assed jumps.
also try to stay nnear the tops of buildings, so it's mostly just the helicopters and a few soldiers that somehow knew you'd end up at the top of the building. and NEVER slow down, unless you see a pedestrian to feed on.
ET 2: The Invasion Force Arrives
Actually, I was talking about the battle where you are Spider-Man and you have to stop Venom from shoving the helicopter over the edge of the building.

Ugh, I hated that one so bad.
Basically here is the trick (I completed this level a LONG time ago, so I'll do my best):
-Run up to the ba$tard and begin punching him immediately. Do the kick combos, punch combos, or put them both together.
-After hitting him a few times, he'll get annoyed. I think he roars and turns his attention to you.
-When he does that, get the hell outta there, jump backwards but not into the flames on the roof. Venom should follow you and try to attack you. Hit and run, if I recall, I still think Spider-Man got that severe headache problem.
-He'll return to the chopper and attack it. Repeat the same process.
More hints:
When fighting him, don't get caught in the helicopter propellers, they injure Spidey.
I think there is a time where Venom stops punching and he does some sort of flinch movement. I could be wrong, but if he does that, then take this advantage and punch him.
So unless you already beat him by the time I finish posting this, just beat him around and try your own strategy or you can use mine if it helps at all.

Ahhh.... that battle was so damn hard for me the first time.
When rented the gae agin 2 months later, I pawned Venom's *ss on that level in ONE try!

running up and hitting him and then run, not jump, around the tail of the helicopter shields you from his tentacle attack, so theres less running back and forth
