right away you notice how this picture wise differs from the earlier rocky flicks in how this is shot in that sort of bleak grey photography which started to become common in the 21st century, it has a great soundtrack, especially after hearing the ones to the creed spin offs. i missed until now the female lead was a grown up version from the first 1976 movie. it would've been neater if this was titled rocky 6. is that really apollo's trainer from the first movie who then trained rocky in the fourth movie. this also includes mickey in a flashback where they bring back his line "run over him".
