who thought Marie and Rocky were going to bang before the fight

I mean, they're in Vegas, she knocks his door in the middle of the night, wearing some tight pants...

man had I been Rocky, I would have been like "screw this fight, get in and suck my hard ROCK!"

reply

He's known her since she was a teen - Too awkward.

The innocent kiss on the lips was enough.

If there is an extended universe, pretty sure Rocky *beep* her at some point. And even if he knew her since she was a child, what's the matter? There are couples out there who have a difference in age that can go as far as 30 years! And it is considered as socially accepted as long as both are of the legal age. So let's pretend here that I was 30 when I've seen a friend's daughter for the first time of my life and she was 12. I wouldn't have had any attraction to her at this point and this wouldn't even be an idea that would have crossed my mind. Then, I don't see her for the next, let's say, 15 years. And suddenly, I see her again. She is 27 now and she is hot as hell. If I am still single like I have been for the last

reply

one and a half year, I wouldn't think twice before banging her. This is basically Rocky's situation here. Different time lapses but still, it's his situation. So yeah, it would've had been totally legit, and not awkward.

reply

It COULD'VE happened...seems like that's the closest they'd come in the context of the movie (she's entirely missing from Creed)...but you know Rocky...no "fooling around" before a fight! Weakens the LEGS!

Im gonna punch you in the cooter, I swear to God!

reply

I don't think pissing on Adrian's grave would've been a good story choice...but that's just me.

I thought I could paint it red, but I couldn't find enough goats.

reply

let's imagine for one second Rocky would have banged her.

how good of a sex scene would that been?

reply

There was no real need for it.

Granted Sly and Hughes had a hell of a great chemistry but when push comes to shove the story didn't have a need for a relationship. She gave Rocky friendship and the feminine input he badly needed with Adrian gone, but he didn't need a lover it woulda made him look bad and Adrian look less important. Adrian is what inspires him to fight again after all he needed a way to let his anger out from her death.

Maybe in a longshot they coulda teased them maybe starting something but I just don't see it being needed. That being said her being MIA in Creed actually disappointed me, her or Steps shoulda been in it somehow.

Nah, for one, Balboa still understandably hung up on his late wife...and two, as he’s about to do the deed, goes limp after seeing the spirit of Mickey and his weak legs mantra....nothing spells a downed dingus more than the image of an old Burgess Meredith....trust me, and don’t ask how I know...

reply

It's not that kind of relationship, they had a friendly "let's help each other overcome obstacles" relationship not a romantic "let's f-ck" one.
