$12 million?

So the John Billingsley character was an old friend who
became a billionaire, right?
Apparently, the trasho guy abandoned him years before, and now
he crawled back asking for money to save his business.

Billingsley gives him $12 million! w/o hesitation if Trasho will have some pizza
and beer with him.

Trasho leaves him at the dinner table, and Billingsley changes his mind on the money.

Where exactly did Trasho go? Did he forget his friend again adding insult to injury? Who would be stupid enough to casually forget the provider of so much money? Most people would be sitting next to him pouring his drinks.

When was the pizza/beer party scheduled? I had the impression it was to be in the near future.

Explain, please.

Brad/Billingsley wanted to spend some time with Atrash's (Caland) family in return for the money, which didn't mean anything to him, probably because he felt lonely and he wanted to get a commitment from Atrash to show he wanted to keep in touch, not like 15 years before, when Atrash just vanished. Atrash convinced him that he had to first meet with his staff instead to calm their nerves, but then never arranged for his family to meet with Brad which he had promised.

The next day, Brad apparently had already lost his patience and thought Atrash was not delivering on his side of the bargain, and therefore nullifying the deal.

I also had a problem with Atrash's motivation. On the one hand he is desperately trying to save his company, but then does everything to destroy it. I didn't buy that he was completely preoccupied with what happened 15 years ago and that this could have been the sole reason for his erratic behaviour.
