The Ending?

I watched this movie with my parents last night, and we have some disagreement over the ending.

I think Atrash's life turned around, and had success both as a businessman, husband, and father.

My dad though that he killed himself on the beach, and that those last scenes were just flashbacks.

Please, confirm me right. :)

I think you were correct in assuming that Atrash turned his life around.
During the credits we see the young man, Tyler, wearing an Atrash jacket.
The announcer is advertising the Atrash brand on TV.
The happy scenes were all portraying his new life, in my opinion.
