Few Problems with this horror movie...

1) Who DIDN'T know the kids were going to leap up one day and start killing everyone? Even w/o the promos that was so bloody obvious it totally ruined and surprise value when they actually did so.

2) Last time I checked, hospitals put coma victims in open-back gowns, not ordinary street clothes. Makes it kind of hard to insert the catheter when you're wearing jeans.

3) Over a 10-year period the authorities would have moved the comatose children into central facilities, not left them at the local hospitals. Would have simply cost too much to care for them otherwise.

4) Every night at 10PM the victims go into convulsions that require them to be restrained. Why would the medical staff take the restraints off between fits? The only reason I can think of is so they could get up one night and murder the hospital staff.

Scary group mind virus plagues have been DONE Dahling, simply to death. This wasn't even particularly well done.

It seems in many horror movies today, the viewer is supposed to be mainly concerned with who will survive. A movie starts with a group of people who get killed in various ways, one by one (or sometimes more than 1 at a time). The audience simply watches the mayhem to see who survives and how. The logic and reasons why just don't seem important.

1) You can say that about a lot of films. 'Alien'? Guess what'll be in that one. 'Night of the Living Dead'? Ditto. 'The Thing'? Well, we can count on someTHING being about. Not that I want to compare these classics to this b-move but you get my point.

2) Not all the kids were in hospitals. Some were being cared for by their parents at home.

3) Not necessarily. The sheer (and ever-growing) numbers of comatose kids would have been too much for central facilities, which would have plenty of other pressing concerns. Spreading the kids out in local hospitals, close to their families, makes a lot of sense.

4) Why shouldn't the restraints come off? Nobody knew a massacre was going to take place. And the kids would need to be fed, turned over to avoid sores developing, etc. You can't keep a ten-year coma victim restrained for the whole time.

But yeah, overall film quality was..an issue of concern, shall we say.

Maybe so, maybe not Little Korean, but furthermore as someone had already mentioned on this thread (I forgot who) and that Orion forgot to include also is the sheer logistics of what was happening and how it was able to happen. I mean think about it. Children who have been comatose for ten years or so, lying in hospital beds or stretchers the whole time aren't going to be able to suddenly get up and move around, much less run around after people and attack them. If you were bed ridden for that amount of time, you'd think you'd be able to even stand? Much less run, walk or attack?

You see there's a little thing called common sense, that people tend to ignore and this movie ignores loads of it. Think what you will though. Peace.

I dunno about that. The majority of the kids seemed to be in street clothes as opposed to the proper medical attire like the OP mentioned.

Yeah, I think they tried to smooth that bump over by having the dad tell the main character something like "Something's inside of there, keeping them strong" while feeding his kid at the beginning.

Depending on how you interpret the movie though...if the kids were sent by God, you'd think he'd be the one keeping them healthy. It's God isn't it? He can do what he wants.

"Well...I've seen enough. Come on Charlie, we're going home."
