Yeah... No.


I began watching this movie on TV, and I think I can safely say it totally misses the point.
First, it has a horrendously left-winged slant for some reason, which causes it to ignore that there are sinners of every bent.
Second, it frames a lot of the punishments and the sins that merited them as unfair or inappropriate. The point of the story is poetic justice! not framing hell as punishing people based on unreasonable or archaic moral laws.
Third, It was too silly. A grim humor I could have endured, but it was just silly.

Okay it's been a while since I saw this but I seem to remember some liberals in hell as well. Second point in Dante's Inferno (the poem) Dante is sympathetic to many of the people in hell and felt the punishments to harsh.
