Pics I took at world premiere in Toronto

I went to the world premiere of Citizen Duane at the Toronto Film Festival last week. It was one of my favorite films (I saw 31 altogether) and I plan to write a review as soon as I can (I'm writing one for my 10 favorites).

In the meantime, I wanted to post these pics I took of Devon Bostick with the director and writer.

I had a chance to talk to Devon afterwards and he was very down-to-earth and a bit shy. Really nice guy.

I'm in the movie (don't want to give away where, because I don't actually know) I was going to go to the premiere but ended up not going. but while I was sitting around between takes the director came up and was talking with us for awile, really nice guy, fun experience.

Ahh...at least you're honest! I met the director afterwards and he was a very nice guy, yes. I asked him a couple of questions during the Q&A and he joked with me afterwards about what I asked. He was very cool and down-to-earth.

Well I've been told I get pretty good screentime, but anyways do you happen to have anymore pics?

Also it was probably asked, but was there any mention of a release to the public?

reply

I have about a half dozen more but they are not as good quality.

Just saw your edit...no, they are looking for a distributor.

What do you think are their chances of getting a theatrical release?

reply

ThinkFilm has the Canadian distribution. So I suspect you'll definitely see it there. As far as the States go, they are a huge outfit and are distributing a lot of indies here. My guess is that they'll cut a US deal as well. Maybe they want to wait and see how well it does in Canada.
