I'm not anticipating a reply, seeing as aproximately one person comes her every year, but I'm stuck. I have a broken shotgun, and know not what to do with it. I have nowhere to go, as I need the mansion key with a helmet on it (I have alredy used teh sword and armour ones). Does anyone know what to do with the shotgun, or where the key is? And I also need a red jewel (found the blue one). Where is that? No-one is ever going to answer this, are they?

Being the biggest resident evil fan in the UK, im sure i can help.
The broken shotgun is used in a small lounge just off the main east corridor leading to the back door with the crests. Just before the double doors there is a small room with a VERY high ceiling and through the door in there is the lounge. A shotgun is hanging on the wall and when this is removed it will trigger the ceiling in the previous room to begin descending once you re-enter, so replace it with the broken shotgun to prevent this (is you are playing as Chris then you MUST do this. If you are playing as Jill then make sure you go to the room BEFORE meeting Barry when he gives you the acid rounds. Otherwise, just replace guns as stated before)
As for the helmet key. Well, you know the waterway down out the back of the garden? Go down here to get to the Guardhouse. Once in here you must make your way through (its relatively straightforward) and once you get to the water-filled basement you will obtain a key for a room upstairs. Through a room with hornets, right at the back is a room with the MASSIVE 'Plant 42'. This beast takes sum blasting but once it is defeated the fireplace is revealed to contain...the HELMET KEY!
Take this key back to the mansion and you can access the remaining rooms.
One last thing, once you got the helmet key, go unlock the door at the top of the stairs on the west side of the mansion. In here is a small study full of taxidermy, but if you push the stairs over to the moose head and turn off the light, you will see a sparkling red glint in its eye socket. On closer inspection you will see that this is the RED JEWEL! Place this into the tigers other eye and you will recieve the MAGNUM- same gun as Barry.

Wow.I worry about you, but thanks a million :D. I actually tried using the broken shotgun in that room, but it didn't seem to work. But I'm not too bothered about that, shotguns are overated. And sorry, but could you be alittle clearer about the waterway, i'm not quite sure what you mean. And if I hear of any fanatics like you, I will tell you. Thanks again!

Anyway, once youve got all the crests in the mansion, head to the door on the east side, right at the back past the gallery and put them all in.
Then you go through a storeroom and push the steps up to the shelf opposite, then climb up to obtain the CRANK. Then head through the double doors into the back garden. Kill ALL the dogs and head through the gate.
Here is a large resovior, so use the crank round the path,then drop down and walk accross the walkway, then avoid the snakes and run right round to the lift.
Hea down, kill all the dogs and through the gate opposite. Kill MORE hell hounds and follow the path alllll the way round to the Guardhouse.
