Could Have Been Great Had it Zigged Instead of Zagged

Ok, clearly the director really wanted to do a mix of Carrie and Friday the 13th. But let's say he had reconsidered. Have everything in the movie still happen until up to the counseling session, and rewrite that scene with a better actor. THEN instead of having Michelle go nuts, have her use her brains to turn the tables on her enemies. Have her find a way to expose the guys as drug-rapist, rapist when victim is out cold, guy who is content to watch, jealous girls willing to strike first and ask questions later, and girl who tries to play hero but folds when her own rep is on the line. Have the rest of the school somehow learn about all that and have the movie's title in the end refer to those she turns the tables on. I think you could have had a great empowerment movie that way.

Again, I recognize that the director's intent was to do a revenge-horror movie and I respect that. I just think there was a better story that was lost in service to the Friday the 13th/Carrie bits.
