Is Ant-Man your new favorite Heist movie? What is then

Gotta say Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking barrels for me. I can't even think of any others at the moment. That movie was fun, over the top, and just cool.

For fantasy, sci-fi heist movies like this one I'd say Inception.

Although I don't like to agree with you, inception is one of my favorite movies, heist or no heist. Ocean's eleven comes to mind and recently now you see me.

Also the town, snatch, lock stock, heat, reservoir dogs. All great.

Inception is one my favorite movies of all time

Going at 7 to see its earliest premiere here in NYC . I can't wait !! It looks like a lot of fun and unlike most Marvel films , it seems like it doesn't take itself so seriously as if real life depends on the character lol. Looks like just plain fun and that good enough for me !!

THERES NO ROOM IN MY CIRCUS TENT FOR YOU !!!!

Inception was exceptional and there are many really big films that come to mind like "The Thomas Crown Affair" etc.. But one that comes to mind that's a lot of fun is "The Italian Job" and another well known one is "Inside Man" which are really good as well .

One of the greatest heist films I've ever seen. Damn right it's intense lol.

Spike Lee baby. I came in to say Ocean's 11, but of course Inception as well.

The first Mission Impossible is up there.

The Inside Man.

Yeah I loved Inside Man! I rewatched it just 2 weeks ago. Still a great film and just so well done. Easily one of Spike Lees best.

Also loved Inception and the Ocean films although 12 wasnt that great. But the first one is still the best.

Never really been a heist movie person but now thinking about it I think I liked nearly every one I seen lol.

Looking forward to AM now.

Marvel 2015: Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, Avengers 2, Daredevil, Ant-Man, Jessica Jones!

This movie beats Ocean's Eleven and Thomas Crown as the best in recent memory.

From the standpoint of a heist movie? Ant-Man???

Come on...

The caper aspect of this film was okay but let's face it, there was nothing really remarkable about it.

TCA was still better IMO.

My personal favorite is still The Usual Suspects.

I never even thought of Inception, but come to think of it, I'd have to put that at the top. One that no one else has mentioned that I really liked was Ronin. Also, (coincidentally also with Robert Deniro), are "The Score", and "Jackie Brown".

All of the ones that others have named are also good. Other than "Inception", which is extraordinary, I don't know how I'd rank them.

reply

Inception isn't half as smart as it pretends to be.

reply

How can a movie pretend to be smart? It was an incredibly well-made film at all levels, including acting, and cinematography. If you want to give every movie you see an IQ test, be my guest, but I don't think anyone would ever find that relevant. Either you enjoyed watching the movie or you didn't -- most people did.

reply

Ocean's 11 and 12 are my favorite heist movies.

I'm The Night Fox.

Haven't seen Ant-Man yet.

Glad to see someone mentioned The Score. Great heist movie. I love the Ocean's films for what they are, but the Score is a more sober heist movie.

Another that often gets overlooked is Heist with Hackman. It's ranked much too low on IMDB which probably steers some people away. It's a good one though. Well acted and scripted.
