Has anyone worked at Baskin Robbins before?

Simple question. Have you ever received customers like the one in this movie before? You know, not a child who wanted Mcdonalds and didn't know he wasn't in one? Like a grown adult who just didn't get it?

I worked at a grocery store when I was in my early 20's.

When Pepsi started selling soda by the case, they were packed standing up in a cardboard tray and then shrink wrapped with the Pepsi label. These were called "flats", because you'd stack them one on top of the other with the flat side down.

There was a sign on the display which read, "Pepsi Flats - $4.99 each" I had a customer ask, "Does this mean the soda is flat?"

Yes, because we are going to charge you $5 for a case of flat soda....

The liquor department had a sign which read, "No alcohol can be sold between 1am and 7am." A customer asked, "Is that 1am in the morning?"

No, it is 1am in the twilight....

The "best" one was the customer who returned the cooler she'd bought because it was defective. She said she'd put meat in there, but it had gone bad. I asked, "How much ice did you put in it?" She replied, "You have to put ice in there?"

No, this is one of those new-fangled ice coolers with no plug or anything different than ice coolers for the past 50 years which magically keeps anything you put in it cool. And, if you buy a red cooler, it will make whatever you put in it hot....

Trust me. The customer was NOT busting his balls. People really are that stupid.

I don't doubt that some BR store managers, like bosses everywhere, can be real a-holes, but I'm surprised BR gave the okay for the movie to portray them that way.
