nope they are nothing alike sorry

Well, since the same person created both of them, and was looking for similar success to that of Two Pints, I'd expect a few minor similarities. Like references to sex jokes, focusing on the lives of "twentysomethings" with similar humour. Though obviously it isn't even close to being as good as Two Pints, in any similarity it may share.

kidulthood is about 20 somethings and has sex jokes.. would you say that was a rip off of two pints??

nope.. minor similarities yes... a rip off of another show... no..

It's more of a progression of the idea than a rip off.

I loved Grownups back then as it was fresher than Two Pints and I still love the TV comedy now. Yep, there are some similarities as Susan Nickson created both shows for BBC Three and the shows both star Sheridan Smith, but they are their own shows.

I wouldn't say Two Pints is better than Grownups, nor would I say it is better than some other comedies as Two Pints really lost its shine many, many series ago. With Johnny gone, the writers/producers seem to have run out of ideas, rehashed ideas and have just rehashed the Janet/Gaz/Donna love triangle again, and Louise, I don't know what purpose she serves, and the same can be said for Timothy Claypole the barman/pub manager who replaced Kelly the barmaid/pub manager.

Munch, I thought was ok, but that might just be me LOL.

I like Wesley Presley, despite his rhyming surname LOL. Thomas Nelstrop who plays him is as cute as a button. :)

Two Pints died around the same time as Jonny, I reckon. Grownups is silly, but watchable, yet I would take it's worst episode over the goddawful Coming of Age.
