Why is this place extremely quiet inspite of such a masterpiece???

I've watched a lot of animes but this one is the best among the best ones i've ever seen. The anime is so beautiful that I have to cry at the end of the series.

Everything about this anime is quite perfect. Why desnt anyone discuss about it? Or maybe ppl just look for robot animes?

I just hope this piece of art can be seen by more and more ppl

PS: pls ignore my poor english.

'Art' is an understatement- H&C is a MASTERPIECE!!!! And you're hearing this from a person who doesn't really like anime TV shows that much.

I agree! I cried a little at the end too, which I thought was strange because it wasn't sad or anything, but rather just so... I dunno... just so very very amazingly GREAT.

It was really refreshing to have a nice dose of reality in an anime. I was getting real burned out on all this Naruto and Bleach and stuff like that, and then I found Honey and Clover and was like 'This is the best thing ever.' It has its fun and silly moments (mostly due to the ever-entertaining Morita!) but other than that it was all very real-life situations, which you don't see a lot of in animes.

It became a little slow at times, but life isn't an action-packed fantasy land, now is it? 8)

Touching and heart-warming and all that-- an all around great character-driven show with beautiful animation.

I got a lot of my non Anime watching friends hooked on this show. It really is a masterpiece. Brilliant storyline, amazingly deep characters and the artwork is superb. I don't know why no one posts on this board.

well, w/c is better the anime or the live-action version?

Missing: The Team Kentucky
Also Missing: Rob and Amber :*(

um what i really don't understand is the love triangle with the MIDGET

it's a decent series.

I absolutely love this series. I'd be so bold as to crown it my favorite anime of all time in fact. I watched it all almost strait through in one sitting. I swear I shed tears when Midget got hurt ;_; I knew from Episode 1 Morita would forever be my favorite anime character.

No one posts on this board because this show was never shown on a network. Look a bleach or Naruto and Cowboy Bebop all of them were shown on cable so they are very popular.

reply

This was aired on Animax Asia many times. It's just not popular because it's a Josei anime. Most anime fans are too immature for a mature show like this.

Imdb may have users from all over the world, but it seems like most users are American. Honey and Clover never aired on tv here. Unlike all the shows mention above they all aired on Cartoon network.

I agree, it's a masterpiece. Far more then I initially expected it to be after the first several episodes. I like how the ending wasn't the typical cliched "everyone lives happily ever after". These character continue to struggle just like the rest of us.

I agree. No matter how much I watch it, it never fails to hit the core. I have been in a similar position as to how this anime ended. Losing contact with friends and going separate ways.

I wish i could re-watch in one day.
