Did it really end like that?
Did I miss something or did it really end like that? Do we find out what happened to Laura after Gloria shot her, or is that left up to our imagination?

We come to find out in the end that Laura had split personality and it was "Louise" who was doing all the killing. Gloria shoots her in the arm, so we know she lived in the end. Right after we see the closing scene with Gloria and Rafe, I would have liked a scene where we see Laura/Louise in the psychiatric hospital, perhaps mumbling something about Rafe leaving her the way her daddy did or even letting the audience see her growing attraction/obsession with her male attending doctor. I think that would have been a better ending than just seeing Gloria and Rafe kiss and walk off into proverbial the sunset.
