A Different Kind!

I came out of the movie satisfied, maybe because I am an Inuk, and understood the movie. It opened my eyes of what I have been missing since I was growing up, about the taboos of shamans and the process that my people had to go through to accept the christianity. I am thankful to the creators of the movie to let me see what has happened in those years.

The movie, through my eyes, is entertaining and a learning experience.

I like it because it was in a digital format. It looked like the actors knew how to act the next time around after Atanarjuat. The beginning of the movie is powerful and the season of the winter is powerful. I wish there were more humor.

But I learned and I think mose Inuit when they seen it, it is powerful for them as it is a cultural thing.

I will certainly go see it again and again and again and again.......

maybe because I'm not an Inuk I had to see it many times to really understand it, and maybe I still need to see it some more times... I'm sure you do understand also what is not translated, isn't it?

it is important to Inuit but also to all people, because it is about deep spiritual freedom and we all need it

this is a very powerfull movie, much more complex than Atanarjuat

both are wonderful!
