Absolute crap

This film is garbage - not just because its an abstract "art" piece. The fact is, its a badly made "art" piece. The music is unsuitable, the editing is horrible and it loses your attention quite easily. This could have actually been a good idea and provided a historical piece that would be interesting for future generations who want to get a glimpse of an old football match - but they really messed it up.

I imagine the only people who enjoy this are the type of people who have never watched a game of football in their life.

Your imagination's let you down there sunshine because I've been a season ticket holder for 15 years and I quite liked it. I don't think the makers set out to convey what it's like for a spectator to watch a game, it seemed like an attempt to offer a glimpse of what it might've been like to experience that particular match from Zidane's perspective. In this I thought it was fairly successful.

I thought the sound design, in the last third especially, was superb.

However, I can completely understand why some people wouldn't like it. Each to their own I suppose.

(That's not a bad Top 100 you have there by the way)

I enjoyed it probably only because I've played football for 21 of my 26 years. Then again, I saw it free of charge while hanging out killing time...it was surprisingly entertaining.
