Goddamn is she a cynical, cold and shallow bitch in this movie. For me, I believe she was the weak link to the film. I never wanted to murder a woman in cold blood as awful as her in this film. She's so irritating.

But, yes, Mann was almost evil in this film. Paul and Seth are so fun to watch, when they're cracking jokes together in this movie. And then, Mann speaks and takes all the joy out of every scene she's in.
And how or why would any man marry THAT - let alone, stay with that? Jesus. YIKES.
She's not a bad comedic actress at all. She's great in other things (George of the Jungle, The Cable Guy, etc.), but she was insufferable in this movie.

IDK if its a taste thing but she made me laugh the hardest in the movie. She was bitchy but Paul rudd's character wasn't perfect by any means,
shareShe had some great lines! People are more forgiving of Pete because Paul Rudd is so likeable but I thought it was pretty evident that they were both as bad as each other in the movie and that's why they were both the way they were, which is why Allison is so adamant that she doesn't want the relationship they have because they don't go together.
