How did he get a job?

When Rogen gets a job towards the end, how did he get this job being an illegal alien? Is this a plot hole or lazy writing? Just kind of bugs me that they didn't throw in a simple line stating, well I'm glad I got my work status updated. Nit-picking, I know.
