The scene when Ben was talking about the Delorean time machine and Doc Brown, Debbie never heard of the movie Back to the future? I thought a lot of people would have heard about it at the time.

For example, I have no doubt my mother would remember the basic gist of BTTF, but no way would she remember the guys names.
I got it right away, but I loved that movie so much as a kid...
I would have divorced her then and there . Then again I once broke up with a girl who didn't know who jim morrison was , she thought the Beatles were American and thought Dave grohl was the singer in nirvana . That might not be much to you guys but as a muso she had to go !!!
