shareI'm not crazy about Tarkovsky; too coldly intellectual for me, although I acknowledge Tarkovsky's greatness and particularly love 'Stalker.' 'The Tree of Life' my favorite Malick film.
shareSnap. I also find Tarkovsky a bit cold and academic. There is generally more warmth and expression shown in Malick's films, though they both infuse their films with an other-worldly and deeply philosophical meaning.
