is it gonna be the complete set (excluding summer's (rains daughter) story) or is it just gonna be the first book...cause i was looking at the cast..and i thought "where's austin?"

This is just the first book, not the whole series. If it was the three books about Rain, that would be REALLY long. There's enough trouble to fit one book into a movie, doing three in one would be just horrendous for the writers.
I can't wait to see this movie and read the prequel that'll be coming out with the DVD release.
yeah i definently dont think it woulda been a good idea to put all three into one movie anyways because that would be way too confusing, i mean especially since rain has a whole story and then going to her daughters story would be a little too much.

I noticed that too, i searched the whole cast list and didnt see them anywhere, which is messed up if they took them out especially since they are her brother and sister and she looks forward(sort of) to meeting them since the first day she moves into her grandmothers. Whose monica and paulette,though? I dont remember them from the book.

GW probably took out the main characters so he could add more students . Like Monica and Paulette and Pauline and Paul and Paula and Monique.
