I'm watching the movie on hulu now, about 1:24:54 after Rain sees her mother's grave, and the next scene she's back with her grandmother, her grandmother is reading, I had to rewind like three times but her grandmother is reading a VC ANDREWS Novel! im not sure which one but it looks like cutler one but im not sure but i just noticed it!

Yes. She is reading a VC Andrews novel. I believe it is "Unfinished Symphony" from the Logan family series. (In fact, I am nearly certain of it.)

I also noticed that Rain has a hardback copy of "Rain" the novel in her wardrobe when she puts things into her jewelry box, and when she takes the box out of the wardrobe later.

It made me smile, knowing that they put these in as a special nod to fans of VC Andrews novels.
